DESIGN ORIGIN
Movement Made Visible
The design begins with a spiral glass sculpture, where translucent fan-shaped planes appear to rise around an invisible central axis. Its movement comes from repetition without perfect symmetry, as each plane turns naturally into the next.
OREYNE translates that upward rhythm into hand-shaped metallic wire rather than copying the original material or form literally.

SHAPED IN WIRE
Built One Curve at a Time
Fine metallic wire is looped, woven and tensioned by hand to build each open fan-like section. Small changes in angle are carried from one curve to the next, gradually forming a cascading spiral with depth while keeping the structure airy.
The spaces between the wires are as important as the wire itself, allowing the earring to hold volume without becoming visually heavy.

ON THE EAR
A Sculpture That Changes With You
Worn beside the ear, the cascading curves extend into a long, light silhouette that changes with every movement. Light passes through the open structure and catches individual strands at different moments, revealing new overlaps and negative spaces.
No two spirals are exactly alike: subtle shifts in tension and spacing remain part of the hand-shaped character of each matching pair.
