Inspired by the Calla Lily.
The calla lily, Zantedeschia aethiopica, is defined by a remarkably simple gesture: a single pale spathe curves inward around a concentrated golden center.
Viewed from different angles, the same form can appear narrow, open, folded or almost spiral.
OREYNE does not reproduce that flower literally. What resonates is its visual language — the transition from line into volume, the tension of a folded surface and the contrast between an open outer form and a concentrated center.
THE STRUCTURE
Open, Folded, Never Flat.
Fine metallic strands travel from the narrow upper structure into a broader curved surface below.
Instead of forming a solid sheet, the individual lines remain visible. Their spacing allows light to pass through the piece while overlapping sections create depth, shadow and changing reflections.
A warm-toned central detail introduces a concentrated point of contrast within the cool metallic structure.
IN MOTION
Designed to Change With Every Turn.
The elongated suspension allows the sculptural form to move freely beside the face.
As it turns, its appearance shifts between a narrow profile and a more open silhouette. Reflections travel across the metallic strands while the interior structure repeatedly disappears and returns.
Movement is not added decoration. It is part of the form itself.
