DESIGN STORY
A Crown of White Petals
In a layered white bloom, the petals unfold around a small, luminous center. Some turn outward, others overlap, creating a form that feels both open and full.
Dan interprets this arrangement through fine metal wire, shaping individual petals that retain the delicate lines and changing curves of the natural form.
At the center, a pearl-look accent is surrounded by a ring of gold-tone stamens. Their warm contrast draws the eye inward, while the surrounding silver-toned petals open like a crown.
FORM & RHYTHM
Lines Gathering Around Light
Each petal begins near the center, where fine metallic strands gather closely before extending outward into a softly pointed form.
The strands follow gentle curves and meet along intricately woven edges. As one petal overlaps another, the spaces between the lines reveal changing layers of light and shadow.
The petals do not follow perfect mechanical symmetry. Slight differences in angle, width and curvature give the flower its individual rhythm, allowing the hand-shaped structure to remain visible.
