DESIGN ORIGIN
Inspired by the Ginkgo Leaf.
The ginkgo leaf begins from a narrow point and unfolds outward into a broad fan. Its veins travel in repeated radiating lines, while the edge bends and ripples without losing the clarity of the overall form.
OREYNE translates this rhythm into metallic wire rather than copying the leaf literally, allowing light and open space to become part of the design.
FORM & RHYTHM
Every Line Begins by Hand.
Fine metallic wire is repeatedly looped, woven, bent and shaped by hand. The radiating strands are not stamped from a flat sheet; their volume emerges gradually through the accumulation of individual lines and controlled tension.
Small differences in spacing and curvature are traces of the making process, giving each matching pair its own expression.
SIZE & MOVEMENT
Sculptural Without Feeling Heavy in Form.
The softly ruffled fan sections create visible volume while the open hoop keeps the silhouette light. As the earrings move, each woven strand catches light from a different angle, shifting between reflection, shadow and transparency.
Its compact fan-shaped proportions remain light and balanced beside the face.
