DESIGN STORY
Five Petals Around a Single Center
A white balloon flower opens into five broad petals, each one moving outward from a small, concentrated center.
Luo translates that clear five-part structure into metal, preserving the openness of the flower rather than reproducing its surface literally. Fine hand-shaped lines spread through each petal, allowing the form to remain light even at a larger scale.
At the center, a single pearl-look accent replaces the natural flower core, creating a quiet focal point within the open metallic structure.

FORM & RHYTHM
Five Directions from the Center
The composition begins at a single circular center and opens outward through five separate petals.
Within each petal, fine metallic lines radiate toward the edge before gathering into a softly woven border. The spacing between the lines allows the surface beneath the brooch to remain visible, making open space part of the flower itself.
The petals follow the same underlying rhythm without becoming perfectly identical. Small changes in width, curve and tension reveal the hand-shaped construction behind the symmetry.

MADE TO BE WORN
A Flower and a Line
At 65 × 65 mm, the flower creates a clear focal point on a jacket, coat or dress while the open petal structure keeps the form visually light.
The silver-toned bloom is anchored by a single pearl-look center, while the long gold-tone pin extends the composition downward into a clean vertical line.
As the wearer moves, light shifts through the fine radiating lines and across the pearl-look center, revealing subtle changes in depth from different angles.
Beauty is felt.
