DESIGN STORY
The Moment Before a Drop Falls
At the base of a hanging bud, water gathers slowly before gravity pulls it away.
For a brief moment, the drop remains suspended – held between the plant above and the space below.
This design begins with that pause, preserving the vertical tension between a botanical form and the single drop beneath it.
FORM & RHYTHM
From Bud to Drop
The composition begins with a compact organic form close to the ear.
A fine vertical line extends downward, creating space before ending in a rounded teardrop silhouette.
The distance between the two forms is as important as the forms themselves, allowing the piece to feel light, elongated and deliberately restrained.
MADE TO BE WORN
Movement Held on a Fine Line
The upper form stays close to the ear while the lower drop remains free to move.
With each turn of the head, the suspended element shifts independently, changing the distance and relationship between the two ends of the piece.
What begins as a botanical image becomes a line of movement beside the face.
