A Leaf Held to the Light
Inspired by a leaf held up to the light, with its fine veins, irregular markings and translucent green surface.
The image reveals a quiet network of lines within one natural form. Light travels through the open spaces, making its edges feel delicate and almost weightless.
OREYNE translates that delicacy into an elongated heart-shaped drop, using radiating wirework to echo the leaf’s living structure and its lightness in motion.
SHAPED IN WIRE
Lines Opening Into Form
Fine metallic wires gather closely around the center before radiating outward into a larger open structure.
Each line is positioned and shaped by hand, allowing the heart-like outline to emerge through repetition rather than a solid surface.
The spaces between the wires become part of the design, creating depth through light, shadow and movement.
